Not enough time to go to the gym? The gym comes to you. You can work out on your lunch hour or at any time of day that works for you. Excuse gone! Don’t like the “meat market” atmosphere? I don’t either. When you work out at home you don’t have to compete with anyone, dress up for anyone, or work out to impress anyone. Excuses gone!
You may already own equipment and don’t want to join a gym (and shouldn’t have to!) You may own exercise videos that you don’t watch (or ONLY watch, and don’t actually participate.) You have probably researched basic weight training, and have a basic idea of what to do, but you’re not doing it. Having a trainer work with you can teach you how to properly use the equipment you have, motivate you and give you ideas of things you can use--right in your home—to improve your fitness and health. It’s also a good opportunity to have your environment evaluated for “non-friendly” nutrition traps that could jeopardize your program, if that’s something that would be helpful. I might ask to look in your refrigerator or pantry from time to time, and address any “triggers” that could get you off track or lead to a lapse and give you advice about things you might try as alternatives. I’ll provide the fitness instruction by creating training programs using periodization methods for maximum results, and basic education to help you live a better life. All you need to provide is the desire to change and the right attitude!
